About I-Tip Hair Extensions
I-tip extensions are individual human hair strands finished with a straight, cylindrical tip. The tip is rigid and slightly tapered — either a solid keratin rod or a bonded rod — designed to pass through a micro ring (bead).
Installation is cold fusion: no heat, no glue. A micro ring is threaded onto the natural hair, the I-tip strand is inserted through the same ring, and the ring is then clamped closed with pliers. The connection holds by physical compression, not by melting.
